It has been an honor to be recognized by the readers of Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living Magazine as 'Best Architecture Firm'  for many years now.

A couple of decades ago, I made the deliberate decision to stop submitting projects for design awards or otherwise publicizing my work in any way. I was interested to learn how, over time, my professional empathy and sensibilities may be sharpened practicing with the knowledge that the only metric I would use to measure my success would be satisfaction levels of my client.

I think that was a useful choice for me, at the time. But I have also become more aware that getting the word out about what we am up to professionally is important - in the best interests of potential clients as well as my career and family.
