Dog Town

One of the coolest things about Bozeman, Montana is the level of affection the community shares for dogs. On almost every block in downtown Bozeman, you will find bowls of water for dogs.  Many businesses have dogs in their stores.  Many owners allow employees to bring their dogs to work.

I am a dog lover!  You can't do much better than a dog for security, protection, and companionship. Even today, the most effective burglar deterrent is still our friend since the stone age. Dogs are portable, which is handy because most attacks happen outside the home. And compared to an electronic system, which is prone to mechanical (and human) failures, a dog will almost never let you down. If you look after it well, it will look after you.  Better still, dog owners have lower blood pressure and suffer less anxiety than people of similar age who live without pets. We get more exercise too!
